About the Project

Civic Lens is a cross-continental civic storytelling initiative by Dohelps & Vidahelps Foundation, registered in Nigeria and Portugal. We empower underrepresented communities to tell their own stories through documentary film, journalism, and multimedia platforms.

Our Objectives

🎥 Train 150 Storytellers

Build skills in investigative, ethical, and solutions-driven storytelling.

📽 Produce Civic Documentaries

Create 6–8 films on migration, climate, governance & youth activism.

🌍 Community Engagement

Host 20+ screenings with forums in Nigeria & Portugal.

📰 Strengthen Media

Launch a bilingual hub with films, podcasts, and advocacy campaigns.
